Who to Tell if You or Someone you Know is Being Bullied
After identifying the signs of the problem you may wonder how to deal with resolving this issue. There are a ton of places you can go to try and find a resolution to this problem. One way is to confront the bully. Violence is not the answer. The best way to confront a bully directly is to talk to them and try and get them to stop. The next way to stop a bully is to try to tell someone. There are tons of people you can talk to. The counselors at your school, the teachers, your parents or guardians, the bully's parents, and even your peers. If you can spread awareness that this problem is happening to yourself or others then you can start to resolve the problem. Finally, you can spread awareness to your school counselors anonymously through various forms of communication. One way is the bully button. Although the bully button is not anonymous, it is done off campus and away from your peers so you can remain unknown to your classmates. Another, way is Safe 2 Tell. This is completely anonymous if you wish it to be. It is good to know that telling on someone for bullying is not tattling. It is attempting to keep your school a safe place. No one likes to be bullied so it is our job as members of the community to keep our peers safe and in a good environment.
