If a friend is avoiding eye contact or generally trying to stay away from the individual or group he or she may be bullied by them. It is best to talk to your friend before you try and confront the group or tell an adult about it. You don't want to wrongfully accuse another person. Whether it is the individual looking over their shoulder all the time, acting unusual, seeming sad or scared, or even missing school for a period of time. You should try and talk the the individual you think is getting bullied and try to find the problem.
